White Family Tree

white family tree
I am doing a family tree, and I hit a dead end, and need help!?

I am trying to find out if my great grandmother was american Indian. My dad was told she was full indain, but on the census it says white. Her name was Vida Lee Worley. I looked up Vida, and it said it was a indian name! Would welcome any advice. I’m kinda at a dead end! Thanks!
I have been on Ancestry.com.
HSK’s mama: Yes Vida Worley was married to my great grandfather james walter worley!
I have found out that vida’s father is samuel m worley, and mother hannie v was her mother. after that the name changes to warley.

The mormon church has an enormous library of Native American birth records in Utah. If you know when and where she was born and her maiden name then they should be able to find records on her. Even if you don’t have all that information, contact them and see what they can do for you.

Here is one link you can use:

If that doesn’t work, talk to anyone you know who is mormon. Many times they can tell you who to contact.
